A Cup of Cold Water

“For whoever gives you a cup of water to drink in My name, because you belong to Christ, assuredly, I say to you, he will by no means lose his reward.” Mark 9:41

One such cup of cold water was given to me by my friend, Stephanie, a few years back. She had traveled from another town, with five kids in tow, to bring me a Tim’s ice cappuccino. She came to my door and handed me the cup and said, “Everybody needs to be treated sometime.”  

Thank you Lord for friends like Stephanie whose kindness toward me have not been forgotten and continue to bring You glory.

Dear Lord,

I can’t imagine where we’ld all be without the encouragement of others along this journey we call life.  We have been lavishly showered from above and our hearts are filled with praise for You because of them. Thank you! Because of Calvary please keep us strong while we serve one another. ♥️
