Living Water

I marvel at our technology today and how we are able to capture beauty of nature which enables us to stand in awe and wonder of our Saviour Jesus Christ. πŸ˜

John 4:14 reminds us that, β€œ…whoever drinks of the water that I give him will never thirst… but it will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.”

In planning and orchestrating a birthday party as a young girl, I neglected to invite a friend who wished to be participate (resulting in getting my face slapped later on). Later, I was harshly reminded (I got my face slapped!) that being left out is not fun. 😒

Unlike our little parties with a few favorite friends, God extends a lavish and personal invitation to β€œwhoever” will come (Rev. 22:17).  This gift of eternal life is free, given to all who will believe, and truly something to celebrate. πŸŽ‰  He simply invites you to ask β€œHim, and He would have given you living water.” (John 4:10)

Thank you Lord for the woman at the well of John 4 who accepted Your invitation to receive living water.  What a thrill to see how quickly she responded in faith to You by leaving her water pot to go and tell others to β€œcome.”

Today my prayer is:

Lord,

Please open our eyes to the opportunities around us. May we be a people who are bold in living and declaring these truths to others.

In Jesus Name,

Amen!
